Ahreum Han Congdon is an acclaimed, award-winning international concert organist who currently serves as the Director of Music and Organist at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Known for her powerful, imaginative, and highly dynamic performances, she has performed as a featured soloist at multiple national and regional conventions for the American Guild of Organists and maintains an active international touring schedule across the United States, Asia, and Europe. Ahreum has earned top prizes from numerous competitions, including the Oundle Award in the United Kingdom, undergraduate division of Westminster Choir College Scholarship Competition, the Charlotte Hoyt Bagnall Scholarship Competition, the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) National Young Artist Performance Competition, the John Rodland Memorial Church Music Scholarship Competition, the Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival, the Carlean Neihart Organ Competition, and the Edwin Seder prize at Yale Institute of Sacred Music. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in organ performance from Westminster Choir College, a Diploma from prestigious Curtis Institute of Music, a Master’s degree from Yale School of Music and Yale Institute of Sacred Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Iowa.
